Dear Servant,
Thank you for your faithfulness to your church and to the Lord as you trust Him during this time of transition. A church member recently told me that they'd "rather be searching for a new church all together than to be searching for a new Pastor." In some regards I can understand his sentiments exactly. Being without a Pastor can be a difficult thing for a church to endure and sometimes it's even destructive. I believe that God gives to a church a man of God that will watch for the souls of its members, and gives to a man of God a church whose members will know and follow his leadership. I trust that as you continue this process of calling your next Pastor you will be still and know that God is and that through a still small voice He will guide your search for the right man. Seek to do the Father's will, be confident in the Spirit's leading, and He will give you peace when He reveals the right choice for your next Pastor. Thank you for taking the time to review my information and for prayerfully considering me as a candidate. I look forward to talking further with you and the church and potentially meeting you all face to face. Please feel free to contact me directly or by e-mail if you have any further questions or if I can be a help to the church during this time. In Service, Pastor Keeton Wainscott |
